Since 1900s, Italian Serie A has been one of the best soccer leagues in the world. It is consisted of 18 teams and among them, seven best teams including Inter Milan, AC Milan, and Juventus are called the "Seven Sisters." Serie, which means "Series" in English is divided into 3 levels: A, B, and C. After each season, the bottom 4 Serie A clubs have to go down to Serie B and instead, the top 4 Serie B clubs take their place in the A level. Serie A is widely known for its powerful defensive soccer with a lot of tackles and pressures. Like the English Premier League and Spanish La Liga, Serie A has many of the world's best players such as Alessandro Del Piero of Italy, Andriy Shevchenko of Ukraine, Patrick Vieira of France and Kaka of Brazil.
Inter Milan, was established from a club called "Milan Cricket & Football Club", and was separated from this club years later. The team opened its door not only for the italyn players, but also for foreign players, and that's why the club got the name of "Inter". After the World War II had started, many players of the club went to battlefields and died. Despite all those tragedies and hardships, now the club has become one of the most famous soccer clubs around the world.
The club Juventus was first established by a group of young adults who just loved soccer. In 1905, they first won the italyn League Championship and due to the extreme increase in number of game-goers, the club had to move to a bigger stadium. They also brought a major "change" to uniforms. The first Juventus' uniforms were pink but since the English uniform company delivered them ones with a wrong design, the club ended up wearing jerseys with black-and-white-striped design on them.
AC Milan shares the home stadium with Inter Milan and they are also the two of the best and the most exciting teams in the league as well as in the world. Many legendary players in history of world soccer had played for AC Milan, and the tradition continues. The team is very experienced and well-organized behind veterans like Paolo Maldini and Seedorf. Also, AC Milan has a player who's arguably the most underrated forward in the world and that is Andriy Shevchenko of Czech Republic.
While Inter Milan, Juventus, and AC Milan are considered as the top three clubs of Serie A, AS Roma is a B-level club when compared to those 3. But the team is playing well despite the fact that they lack star players unlike the other 3 clubs. The franchise player of the club is Francesco Totti, who's one of the best offensive midfielders in the world. AS Roma uses the 4-2-2 formation and puts Totti up front so that he can lead the offense to score more goals and lead them to victory.
